1. BOOKINGS - RATES
By making a reservation, you declare full acknowledge and unconditional acceptance of the hotel's accommodation, booking, payment & cancellation policies. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read all these terms & conditions prior to making a booking.
Prices are in Euro, per room and per night and include breakfast, all free services, VAT. 13% and all the other legal taxes.
The rates refer to the accommodation of the persons / children described in detail in the room descriptions (see also the "Children Policy" below).
Reservations are NOT charged with the extra accommodation tax applicable to all hotels in the country from 1-1-2018, due to the fact that "Vogiatzopoulou Guesthouse" is an except as a "traditional hotel".
The special offers are applicable to the prices according to the period, are not combined with other special offres and may not apply in periods of very high demand.
The hotel reserves the right to change the prices mentioned on its website at any time without notice.
2. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
In order to guarantee your reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total cost is required either by bank trasnfer or by debit card (Visa or Mastercard accepted)
The deposit shall be made within 3 business days of the hotel's contact with the customer (and by sending an e-mail). Otherwise, the reservation can be canceled without further notice and the room is released.
The hotel reserves the right either to pre-authorize or to charge your card, partially or fully according to the reservation conditions, as well as to request full payment for your stay upon your arrival. The hotel can also cancel a reservation if the credit/debit card is invalid.
For non-refundable reservations, the full amount of the reservation is charged at the time of the booking confirmation, and modifications and cancellations are not allowed.
3. CHANGE OF RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS
We kindly ask our guests to inform us as soon as possible for possible changes or cancellations of their booking.
In case of cancellation, our general policy is as follows:
- Cancellations up to 21 days prior to the arrival date are free of charge and the deposit is fully refunded.
- For cancellations up to 20 days before the arrival date, 50% of the total cost of the reservation is charged and the deposit is not refundable.
- For cancellations from 1-6 days prior to arrival date, as well as in case of no-show, early departure or late arrival, 100% of the total cost of the reservation is charged as planned and the hotel reserves all its legal rights.
- For non-refundable reservations that may apply during periods of high demand, the entire amount of the reservation is charged at the same time of the booking confirmation, and modifications and cancellations are not allowed.
In exceptional circumstances, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation or to change, substitute or withdraw any service, installation or provision without notice, if necessary. In this case, the hotel is required to refund the full amount of your reservation and will make every effort to secure accommodation in another accommodation of the same category, in the same city that offers similar facilities & services
4. ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE
Upon arrival at the hotel, you must have your reservation code, ID or passport and the card that has been used for the reservation
Unless otherwise noted in your reservation, check-in time is from 15:00 and check-out time is until 11:30.
The possibility of extending the departure time after 11:30 depends on the hotel's availability and we always try to be flexible when it is possible (and if there is no other reservation for the same day). In any case late check out may be valid until 15:00. After, accommodation has an additional cost as follows:
- Check-out until 18:00 An extra charge of half day will apply
- Check-out after 19:00 Full day will be charged
In any case, you must notify your request to the hotel reception the latest at your arrival
5. CHILDREN POLICY
Babies and children can be accommodated in three of the hotel's six rooms and exactly as it is mentioned in the descriptions of the rooms. These rooms are: "Mimosa"-deluxe double, "Jasmine"-junior suite and "Hortensia" -junior suite.
In any case for any extra person / child or older child than described in the rooms (and always after the acknowledge and pproval of the hotel) there is an extra cost for children from 3-12 years old at 10€/night and from 12 years and above at 20€/night, as according to the hotel standards after 12years old children considered as adults
A free supply of a baby cot is also available, depending on availability. Except of a baby cot at the bigger rooms, extra beds cannot be added to the rooms, only the beds provided are used.
All children staying at the hotel must be accompanied and be under adult supervision.
6. SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is strictly forbidden in all rooms as well as in all hotel's common areas.
7. PETS POLICY
We are sorry but pets are not allowed at any room or areas of the hotel. In case of coming to the hotel with a pet without any information and consent, the hotel has the right to refuse your stay and has the right to cancel the reservation and charge its total cost as planned.
8. GUEST CONDUST & BEHAVIOR
Guests are kindly requested not to induce annoyance, behave in a decent way, and to respect other occupants, staff and all areas of the hotel. Also, all tenants have to comply with the regulations, while the hotel reserves the right to refuse access or to disclaim any person, whose conduct is considered to be criticized. In this case, the hotel is not obliged to pay any compensation.
In the event of damage to the rooms or other property due to deceit, will or negligence, the hotel reserves the right to charge the amount of the damage suffered, including loss of activity, to the credit / debit card of the registered customer. In cases where the customer has not paid by credit card, but in cash or otherwise, the hotel will require immediate payment of the amount of the damage suffered by the customer otherwise the hotel reserves all of its legal rights.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
The hotel can not be held liable if it can not fulfill its obligations to the customer, in whole or in part, due to force majeure (notably strikes, fire, terrorism, floods, civil disturbances or natural disasters).
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Each guest is responsible throughout their stay at the hotel for safekeeping of personal and / or valuable items, money, etc. It is possible, upon arrival of the customer at the hotel, to deliver them to the reception or address of the hotel for safekeeping, taking relevant evidence. In any other case the hotel is not responsible for any loss or destruction. For other items brought to the hotel by each client, the hotel is exempt from any liability if the loss or damage is due to the negligence of the client or other persons staying with him, visiting him or being in his service. Also, the hotel is not responsible if the damage, destruction or loss is due to superior violence (earthquake, fire, etc.) or to the particular nature of the thing.
12. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
Guests accept that the hotel has made all reasonable efforts to ensure and update the accuracy of the information contained in its brochures, advertisements and website and is not responsible for any variations / changes in the writing of those who have not connection with the hotel.
